Join the Jewish pantomine…
Purim is a fun and festive Jewish holiday celebrating the deliverance of the Jews from their enemies, and the most important Purim custom is the reading and re-enactment the Purim story - how the villain, Haman, cast the “pur” (the lot) against the Jews yet failed to destroy them. Jews usually dress up as characters from the story (or nowadays even their favourite film character or in other fancy dress costume) and whenever Haman’s name is mentioned people will boo, howl, hoot and shake noisemakers (groggers) pantomime style.

Happy Purim! Mazel tov!
Since Esther has always been my favorite book in the Bible, one of these days I want to take part in this holiday. Even though I’m a Christian and only 1/8 ethnically Jewish.
